Annual Fund Donations
WHY DONATE?
Wagner Ranch is a public school, however, the education our children receive at Wagner is not a standard public school education. Parents sustain a major portion of educational services through financial support and volunteer efforts.
Although we have donation guidelines, please know ANY AMOUNT HELPS. We are aiming for 100% participation, so please join us in supporting the excellent education our children receive at Wagner Ranch Elementary School.
Your donations to the WR Parents’ Club (WRPC) allow us to:
• Hire additional teachers (which allows smaller class sizes), hire aides for all classrooms, hire PE Teacher, Librarian, Psychologist, Science and Garden Aides (80% of the WRPC budget)
• Purchase relevant and updated technology
• Send teachers to trainings
• Purchase classroom supplies
• Coordinate end-of-year teacher/aide gifts and parties
• Purchase earthquake/disaster supplies for all students
EFO
Your donations to The Educational Fund of Orinda, EFO, fund Art and Music Instruction at Wagner Ranch.
EFO receives donations from all Orinda families (K-12) and distributes funds equally on a per-child basis. Together with the Wagner Ranch Parents' Club, EFO fills the gap in state funding to ensure our students experience a well-rounded, enriched academic program. In addition, EFO is a significant contributor to the preservation of our smaller class sizes in grades TK-3. For more info on EFO, please visit the EFO website.
